Hey Mel...tres cool!
Isn't it interesting how many of the things that David recommends (as do many other experts and envior activists...see Al Gores "10 Things:" http://www.climatecrisis.net/pdf/10things.pdf), essential have the power to give capitalism and it's power hungry advocates a big kick in the side?!
You see, if we were to follow the 10 things David and others recommend, we reduce the money and support going to oil companies, to mass corporations and others who seem to have us dependent on them...but we're getting smarter (slowly albeit!).
Anyways, I'm about to read "Omnivores Dilemma" by Michael Pollan for my movie/book club (http://www.michaelpollan.com/omnivore.php) and I think this will only strengthen and further my belief in one of David's famous mottos: "Think globally -eat locally!"
C U soon!
:D
